                                        Multicultural Artists Partnership (MAP) Spring Festival Feb. 14th, 2010


To celebrate Asian Lunar New Year (Year of Tiger), 360 Gallery of Austin and MAP joint present Spring Market
Day on Feb. 14th, Sunday.

Who:     MAP & 360 Gallery of Austin (www.360galleryofaustin.org)
Where: 6720 N. Capital of Texas Highway, Austin TX 78731 (N. of 360 bridge & S. of Lakewood Dr.).
When:   Feb. 14, 2010.
What:    The Asian Lunar New Year celebration will be held in Hsiang Yun Temple (www.ibps-austin.org ). MAP and 360
Gallery of Austin joint host a Spring Market in the location as part of the celebration event. Since 2003, this popular event
attract hundreds to over thousand people came celebrate the New Year together each year. The event included praying for
a prosperous society, country and world peace (10:30am), authentic Chinese vegetarian lunch (12noon), performing, talent
show, lion dance (1:00-2:30pm) and art exhibitions.

Free admission, free parking and wheel chair accessible.

Type of art: This is a great event for jewelry, cards, smaller 3D & 3D art works and hand made gifts. Please note, this
Market is neither a religion nor a political event.
Space: Single space is a table 1.5 ft wide x 6 ft long (table provide).
Cost:    Current members free of charge. Non-members: $35. MAP will not take commission from artists.
Deadline for apply: Feb. 10th, midnight. Only 5 spaces available, apply early!

celebration event is especially great for children and adults who are interested in culture, food and art.

About The Multicultural Artists Partnership (MAP): It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit arts organization registered with the
Texas Secretary of State’s office in Austin, Texas. MAP develops programs and exhibition opportunities for
artists from different cultural backgrounds and with art from genres including two and three-dimensional art,
performing arts, literature and design.

MAP’s vision is to provide a bridge between the community-at-large and individual artists and art groups. MAP’
