     Multicultural Artists Partnership

Multicultural Artists Partnership (“MAP”), a 501 (C) 3 non-profit corporation, is a dynamic group of
art-enthusiasts formed in Austin, Texas.

                                   
The Mission

Focus on promoting multicultural art presentations in Austin and exchanging artwork with other
artists around the world.  The group has a particular focused mission: To create opportunities that
help artists commercialize their work.


                                     
The Goal

The goal of this Multicultural Artists Partnership is to present and promote art and artists from
multicultural backgrounds and to build bridges that connect different cultures and people in Austin
and around world.  The group will present artists who are located in Austin.  The distinction of this
Multicultural Artists Partnership is its focus to help artists commercialize their work via group art
events, exhibitions, concerts, shows and the Internet with an emphasis not only on promotion and
sales, but on education and learning.  

                             
The Function/Vision

The function of this Multicultural Artists Partnership is to support artists by bridging individual
artists and small art groups to the community at large through yearly events for members to
participate in and for the public to attend.

In addition to public events, the group will gradually build its web site for display and
commercialization of member artist’s work and to provide links to artists or sub-groups.  Individual
members are encouraged to present ideas and share possible opportunities.  

                                 
 The Participants

The group will include all types of artists and art patrons who are willing to work together to bring
knowledge about all types of art to the community.  Multicultural Artists Partnership located at
Austin, TX, will strive to bring in more multicultural artists from other parts of the country and world
to enhance Austin’s existing colorful landscape of artistic culture. Member participants will help
spread the word and promote the group resulting in exposure of their individual talents.  

The artist members will be professional artists and art educators from different cultural
backgrounds.  This partnership of artists includes a variety of medium from the following four broad
art categories:

  •  Two dimension art: fine art painting, photography, digital graphic arts, and so on.
  •  Three dimension art: sculpture, pottery, craft art, fine art jewelry, wood/bamboo, stone,   
    glass,  metal, textile and paper art, etc.
  •  Performing arts: music, dance, theater, artistic video and film. It also includes other  
performing art support professionals, e.g. stage arts, make-up art, custom design,    
sound and lighting.
  •  Design art: architecture, interior, furniture & fashion and all type of graphic design.  

The art patrons will be the most important support force for artists. We will have a special
department for art patrons.  We will all work together to build a true multicultural community.

                                  Membership

Becoming a member participant of the Multicultural Artists Partnership does not conflict with any
other art group(s)/association(s) or galleries which participants may already belong to.  All art
groups and associations have individual strengths and advantages.  All individuals and/or art
groups and associations are invited to join and make Multicultural Artists Partnership stronger and
better.

The basic member fee is $36.00 per person allowing membership through December 31, 2007.
