Dr. Jampa Stewart
Jampa Mackenzie Stewart, M.S.O.M., L.Ac., Dipl.Ac. is the founder and director of the
Healing Tao Institute in Austin. He is a Senior Qigong Instructor, certified by the Universal
Healing Tao. Stewart also holds a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest
Acupuncture College (SWAC) in Santa Fe and has taught Medical Qigong at both SWAC and
the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin, Texas, where he now resides.
Jampa is also an AOBTA Certified Instructor in Medical Qigong Therapy and Chi Nei Tsang,
and a Board Certified Diplomate in Acupuncture (Dipl. Ac.) by the National Certification
Committee for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Jampa served as co-chairman of the National Qigong Association (NQA) Medical Qigong
Committee and guided them in developing new national standards for Qigong professionals.
He is currently on the NQA Board of Directors. He was also a past board member of the
Texas Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medical Association, founding board
member of the Healing Tao Instructors Association and former co-chairman of their
Certification Committee.
